It has changed and is now a a destination in its own right. The public parks, harbouside walks, beaches and coastal vibe is a real attraction for anyone wanting to stay in a location that is not too far from the city or western suburbs of Sydney but wants that true coastal feel.
Accommodation is plentiful and there seems to be a good range in both standard and price. The apartment was modern and stylist with every comfort we could ask for. Lovely friendly owners and a fabulous location on the Kiama Coastal Walk. Kendall Beach was within walking distance and the ocean views from the apartment were beautiful to wake up to every morning.
The apartment suited our needs and we were very happy with our experience. Highly recommend this stay. The only negative was we had to leave! We were blessed with sunny days which meant we could do parts of the coastal walk, visit Gerringong and Berry by car, and have lunch outside both in Kiama and Berry.
We also liked visiting the native garden and Spring Creek wetlands. Kiama is a truly beautiful town, with spectacular views and stunning clean beaches and nearby. Wrhave visited many times So many lovely shops, restaurants, cafes with friendly staff and local residents. Warning, it is a town full of steep hills. So it is not suitable for people with any form of walking disability or injury. Definitely need a very reliable vehicle.
Always pack cool weather layers of clothing, weather can be quite windy and it can change very quickly. The apartment was very comfortable with everything you could need for a great break away - clean, comfortable and a short walk away from the centre of Kiama. The property was well appointed to meet our needs with ample linen, towels, cutlery etc. It was also great to have underground parking and a lift! Would highly recommend. Centrally located to the town and a walking track right next to the villas so you did not have to go on a road to get to the beaches and the town centre.
Great safe playground for the kids, Clean facilities with everything a family needed to prepare your own food. TV with Netflix to entertain the family. Lovely deck to enjoy breakfast and a cup of tea. Our stay at Bellevue was fantastic. My partner and I stayed in Kiama for a wedding. This one bedroom self contained apartment had everything you need. The facilities were fantastic and the apartment was immaculate as well as the gardens. Would highly recommend :. The location of Kiama Shores is wonderful.
The beach was less than a ten-minute drive, and you could walk there too! It was very central and so there was very easy access to restaurants and shops. The staff were all lovely and very welcoming and greeted me every time I came in.
The room was nice and clean and very comfortable. Welconing and helpful staff run this well-located motel, situated within walking distance of most services, the CBD, Kiama Blowhole, and two beaches.
Rooms aren't huge, but contain everything you need, and have been recently renovated. Highly recommended as a getaway with the convenience of walking to the beach, town centre and train station. Enjoyed the view from the balcony and the quiet surroundings.
Great location, next to all amenities you can walk everywhere Kiama coastal walk. Very clean and tidy and has lot of supplies for cooking etc. It also has Netflix which was great. Nice staff and friendly. Featuring an outdoor saltwater swimming pool, Kiama Shores offers air-conditioned accommodation in the heart…. Leave only footprints, take only memories — and some good photos! Please take all rubbish with you or utilise the bins provided. Even small changes to an ecosystem can upset the fragile balance.
