By the time the roof came on for the third set, Shapovalov was well clear, a Friday night party pooper who will never be a less popular winner, although through no fault of his own. The American had, quite simply, played better than Evans and there was an element of that to the early stages between Murray and Shapovalov, as the Scot looked to still be suffering the after-effects of the late-night exertions against Otte on Wednesday.

It's obvious that she does that to annoy or distract her opponent, and surely there must be an umpire who has the guts to tell her to stop it or be disqualified.
Anyone who doesn't believe players do it intentionally should watch Azarenka now, that ridiculous 'oooohhhh-uhhhhh' noise she used to make has disappeared completely. Murray made harder work than in previous years of making the latter stages of the tournament. He required four sets to beat Ivo Karlovic, Baghdatis and David Ferrer to reach the semi-final, where he dropped another set but comfortably beat Tsonga to reach his first Wimbledon final.
A fantastic start saw Murray take the first set , but the Swiss ace hit back to win the next three and claim the title.
