How many rows on a 717

I will look for them on many routes. Although, just as you mentioned, FAs I have spoke to cannot stand it. It is superior to the CRJs because of the full-size overhead bins. Unlike the CRJ and , it has forward and aft lavatory.

It is superior to the in one respect — tail-mounted engine nacelles mean almost silent running in the forward cabin during takeoff. As for the galley, the AirTran FAs often alternated between and without complaint.

Change can be uncomfortable. Thanks for the review! I am curious, are the overhead bins now large enough for a standard size carry on?

I definitely like the layout and naturally have always preferred the 2 seat side. Solid, reliable airplane. Not bad I had in my mind CR9 and the new actually new 73 so I was pleased with the overhead. My chance finally came! The leg room in row 1 is little changed from AirTran. Starboard seats 1C and 1D have the cut-out below the galley, which brings an impossible situation at least close to tolerable. On the bright side, at-seat power was very popular with my fellow forward cabin occupants and the dinner was far better than anything I ever had on AirTran.

The seats in the Delta b are very close together. Very uncomfortable. The cooling system in the B does not work well. Find another aircraft if possible.

Nice jet may transport about passengers. But Delta still use about a hundred B mostly for Internal flights. Your email address will not be published.

I think this is a great seat. For one, there is no one to share with you, and to your left a whole lot of space. There is a limited recline, but I am one of those passangers who do not recline, even in business and first class.

There isn't a lot of leg room in front of you, but there is enough for me and I'm a big guy. The best part is the space to your left. Plenty of room for stuff, for me, I kept my bag there so I didn't have to use the stowaway. Engine is right outside the windows for this row. Blocks window view and causes a lot of noise. The Comfort Plus seat 12B was very stiff and had hard spots. After the three hour flight, I experienced back pain which has not resolved after 16 hours.

Despite my getting up and moving around every 30 to 45 minutes, the seat kept exerting more pressure at its hard points. Also, the seat did not recline at all. Delta needs to investigate the use of better foam like that used for orthopedic cushions. And they need to do a better job of maintaining the seats. Loved this seat - there really was a ton of leg room and the minimal separation between that row and 1st class basically a small curtain really added a sense of space.

Beware though - this seat didn't seem to have a tray table at all. If it was in the arm it wasn't working properly. Seat itself was comfortable. Awesome view, you can see the engine and the wing.

Seat was comfortable and service is great on board. I am only 5'6" and barely had one inch between my knees and the seat in front of me. I am borderline claustrophobic and really had to concentrate to keep from loosing my mind.

I had a window seat and really felt trapped. Window is completely blocked by engine. Seats are serisouly cramped. Very uncomfortable. Bad seat, small legroom, no outside view, a lot of noise and in my flight: really hot. And by bumped, I mean body checked and smacked by any laptop case, messenger bag, or purse that passenger may be carrying over their right shoulder as they navigate the bend in the aisle and realign themselves for the long walk down the main cabin aisle.

Enjoyed having two windows at my seat. Eco comfort and First aren't really divided at all through out the flight; curtain stays stowed. Exit Row 19 is beautiful on this plane. Miles of legroom and a power outlet. No recline, but that's totally tolerable for the shorter routes flown by the The combination of no recline, no extra legroom and the tray table location make it unique on the aircraft and should be classified bad seat. If you want two together you can opt for the A, B seats.

I flew these seats and they were very uncomfortable. Delta BTW sells them as premium seats. It was a great plane in Old by any standard today. The only good seats are in front of the wing or the exits. However prepare to freeze in flight and boil on the ground. Seat 21A does recline however the recline button is stiff and you have to lean backwards to complete the action.

Legroom great. Also alcohol was free and a snack provided. Flight attendant said is was provided on this route. Great as they had Woodford reserve. Seat 29A was so bad I can't believe it's legal. Completely claustrophobic, no window, ear splitting noise and vibrations I kept looking around to see if anyone was as miserable as me.

Couldn't wait to get off the plane. Delta has very little leg room on this flight. The seats are tricky on this , as if you try to recline the seat slides forward jamming your knees into the seat back in front of you.

Then is it is impossible to straighten your legs as the pivot point of the knee is 3" above the seat bottom. This is the worst seat, legroom wise, on the plane. Delta's Customer service told me it was an economy comfort plus seat, but its not.

My guess is " of legroom. Less than a stadard seat. The plane is very loud especially the back restrooms. The seat was comfortable with the adjustable headrest and much quieter than the back of the plane. Seat 29A is so close to the edge of the plane your head is touching the window. I knew i should've taken the DBA Express flight Do not sit in row 20 or 21 paid for upgrade not exit row leg room.

Less leg room than all seating. The put 2 seats in front very, very tight and i oaid for it. It shoukd be removed as an upgrade they are taking you money. The window seats in rows 28 and 29 have no view because the engines are directly outside the windows.

The engine intakes are exactly even with the back edge of the windows in row 27 so the view is limited. Engine noise in all these rows is significant. I think these rows should at least be yellow because of this. Other that that is plane is comfortable and modern inside, with nice seats and easily accessible power ports. The seat pitch is 4" more than BA's European business class and the seats are way better with power points.

In the fact the whole interior had a 'new' feel to it even though these aircraft went out of production in Do not sit at the front on the left side. The ventilation system literally screams over your head.

Very hard on the ears. I sat in 21A today and it was a great seat. Someone else said that it didn't recline, but mine did. Lots of legroom I'm 6'4 so that's important and the seat padding was fairly comfortable. Didn't bother me but could be difficult for someone with hearing impairments. Lav is directly in front of you so some smell could occur.

Seat was comfortable other than those callouts. This seat does not recline though there is no exit row behind it. None of the seats in row 21 recline. This seat is uncomfortable, like there is less cushion in the seat. But maybe this applies to the entire plane as I have only been in 21A for both legs of the trip. This seat has no floor storage unless you can snag the space under 19A two rows ahead. I know the description of 20B is incorrect as there is floor space available for this seat. Restricted Legroom in 1A New first class seats are less padded and feel uncomfortable after an hour.

Seat pitch seems very tight for 31 inches, not sure that is right. Im 6'4" and dont even come close to being comfortable. Tall people should avoid this plane in regular economy. The plane was making a tremendous amount of noise. It seems like something was wrong with the engines. Mechanics need to look into that. It was roomy, spacious, comfortable, and had all the amenities - the electrical outlet and USB port - so your electronics not only stay charged throughout your flight but are charged up by the time you land.

Awesome experience. I will look for this plane again when I'm flying. I've got wide hips and love the exits that are missing an armrest.

This qualifys! The whole aircraft is the new "skinnier" seat design which has less padding and more seats ; the padding is very rigid and uncomfortable. If you have no legroom it's worse. You're losing by choosing these seats. We found the seats hard, narrow, too close to seat in front of us and we were unable to recline our seats. This was a 3 hr. Flying has become more expensive and much less comfortable for the average people living on a fixed income.

Power in seat. New head rest that support perfect for sleeping. I'm a pretty big guy, 5'10 lbs. Next to me was a lbs lady in the middle seat and what appeared to be a lbs man in the aisle seat. The reason being, is that Row 10 is right behind the First Class seats. The only drawback is that the Tray Table is in the Arm Rest, so the seat width is a bit more narrow than the rest of the seats I believe.

However, wasn't that bad of a seat at all. In fact, I chose the exact same seat again for my return flight just earlier this evening. Great seat! In addition to being the last row and perhaps slightly uncomfortable due to the lavs, this row also doesn't have any windows on either side.

I love this seat, especially right next to the engine. While the aisle is centered in first class it is not in coach due to a layout. The flight attendants can't navigate the turn going to or returning the serving carts which are stored in the first compartment galley. This seat is probably the worst seat in Economy comfort.

The aisle takes a turn and as the seat that juts out, everyone who passes by the seat will bump into you even if you're not in the aisle. The passenger has sit leaning towards the window and even then, people with large bodies, bags, and stuff will still brush on to you.

Even the beverage cart dings into the seat whenever it passes by. If I fly this aircraft again, I will definitely not pick this seat again.

Very frequent Delta flyer, but ended up in 29A as the last person to get standby on the flight. I agree that this seat should be a last resort. The seat in row 28 has recline, and you do not. Even with the smallest Mac 11 inch I could barely use the track pad. This is not the worst seat, the isle seats in row 29 are the worst with the limited space and restroom traffic.

Perfectly acceptable economy class seat. Has a power outlet and usb port. One of my favorite planes in the Delta fleet or any fleet. Cushions are decent- certainly fine for a 3-hour or less flight.

That said, there are some seats I would avoid- 10C Row 1, I hate bulkheads without footwells and pretty sure this plane lacks them. First and Economy Comfort could use another 1" of seat pitch, but yeah, those days are over. Other than that In addition to no extra legroom, the miniscule tray table is in the arm rest as opposed to the seat back.

So advantageous of this seat should be that you can spread out and work without annoying a seat mate. No such luck. I was also given free alcohol. I barely had enough legroom, it was uncomfortable but bearable. My recommendations: If you happen to fly on this plane, purchase the economy comfort seats or your trip will be type uncomfortable. PD: rather fly on this plane than on the CRJ.

Typical "First Class" on todays domestic flights. OK Seat for relatively short flight. Legroom would have been a problem on anything more than a couple of hours. The first class seats have a 37 inch seat pitch and the coach class seats have a 30 to 31 inch seat pitch.

Below is the seat map for the airline's The Delta Boeing seating chart has seats in a "3 class" configuration. The aircraft has a first class section with 12 seats that are Delta then has 15 seats that are apart of their Economy Comfort section.

These seats are The economy class seats are The jet has Wifi and volt power with regular and USB power plugs. Below is the seat map for Delta's Above: Delta Air Lines Boeing seating chart. Click on the seat map to view a larger image.
